A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing one of my newborn clients for the second time. This time she came back as an adorable happy 5 month old! I absolutely love seeing how these babies have grown into big personalities! Dalia happens to live in my new neighborhood and I was delighted to have her as my first baby in the new studio. She was so advanced for a 5 month old, crawling all over the place and sitting like a champ!

For this session we went with some soft colors and warm fall colors. One of my favorite parts about my job is searching for the cutest hand-made outfits for my clients to use in the studio. Having headbands and specialty outfits on hand in the studio helps clients not have to worry as much about finding the perfect outfit to match. Before a session I always provide a consultation where I go over expectations and needs of the client. I will often ask clients to show me pictures of the outfits they plan on bringing and let them know what photographs well. Clients can bring their own outfits or use one of the dozens of cute outfits (rompers, tutus, hats, headbands) that I have here ready for you to use!

Here are a few samples from our session:

For me, one of the best things about being a Brooklyn newborn photographer is getting to be part of people’s special life moments. Having a baby, especially a first child is an expereince like no other and to watch new moms and dads exploring this new journey is priceless and magical. Last weeks newborn session was even more special than usual because Ariana’s mother and I have been friends for over 15 years and are sorority sisters! To watch a friend bring new life into the world is amazing and never gets old for me. Ariana is so loved and protected and it was truly an honor to photograph her so early on in her life. (She was also my first newborn in my new studio, yay!)

Hi and welcome to my new blog as a Brooklyn Newborn Photographer! There have been quite a few new beginnings for my business and family over this past summer. After living in our first home for 8 years, the place where my husband and I started raising our 3 little babies, we decided it was time for some change. We didn’t move too far away from our old home so thankfully it wasn’t too big of a transition but I took some time away from business so that I could focus on getting my family settled in our new place. I also spent a great deal of time setting up my new studio and its better than ever! I am so excited to share this new updated journey with my friends, family, and clients!

Fay Simcha Photography will always have its heart on Brooklyn! I Cant wait to meet new clients in my new neighborhood. I will be running some specials for my local Mill Basin folks so that I can start getting to know my new neighbors. Its gonna be exciting stuff!

Here is a little sneak peak into the studio:
